Accountancy is one of the most stable and in-demand professions in Cameroon. Every business — from small enterprises to large corporations — needs qualified accountants to manage finances, comply with OHADA standards, and handle tax obligations.

The 2025 program gives you practical skills in financial accounting, cost management, tax accounting under Cameroonian fiscal law, and modern accounting software like Sage SAARI. These are tools used daily in real workplaces across Cameroon.

With Cameroon's growing formal economy and increasing tax compliance requirements, demand for skilled accountants is rising. An HND ACC is also a strong foundation for professional certifications like ACCA or CPA.

The HND Accountancy (ACC) is a two-year higher technical education program offered by universities and institutes of technology under the Ministry of Higher Education in Cameroon. It combines foundational theory with practical, industry-relevant skills to prepare students for employment or further study.

National examinations for HND ACC are organised by the National Commission for the Organisation of the Higher National Diploma Exam. Students sit for papers across the courses listed above, following the exam framework set by the commission.
